Medical Oncology
Medical Oncology is a branch of cancer care that focuses on drug therapy of tumor diseases. In recent years advancement our knowledge has brought many new opportunities to treat cancer patients with latest immunotherapies, targeted therapies as well as advanced chemotherapies. We work very closely with our colleagues in other specialties such as cancer surgery and radiotherapy to offer the highest standard of cancer care to our patients. Our doctors have worked in most renowned European cancer hospitals and bring many years of experience of treating cancer patients based on internationally recognized guidelines.
Medical treatments could be offered to patients either before surgery to shrink the size of the tumor and offer the best surgical outcome (neo-adjuvant chemotherapy), or after surgical removal of cancer to offer the best chance of cure (adjuvant chemotherapy). When the surgery sis not possible, we offer advanced medical treatments to delay the tumor growth and offer the best quality of life to our patients.
